Very pretty delicate silk top made from a recycled kimono 

I have made this as part of a sustainable collection called 'waist knot ' which is a play on the old saying 'waste not want not ' 

 All the pieces in the collection are recycled from vintage kimonos. 

 I have collected , unpicked and washed all the silk fabric myself so I can guarantee its authenticity. 

 This little top was made from the beautiful lining of one of the kimonos and the fabric is just gorgeous. The palest pink has been printed with a  delicate rose design . The top has been lined with vintage lining and feels light but substantial.  it ties at the back neck with a knot.

 As the fabric is very old, there are a couple of barely noticeable fabric rust spots on the blouse but they are practically impossible to see, have and should be taken as part if the vintage charm and history of the lovely fabric.
